            Bathroom

Bathroom

Your bathroom is where you go to get clean, whether that's a quick shower before work or a relaxing bath in the evening. Think about how many people share this space, what do they need each day?

Design Inspirations :

Wet Floor No More

When renovating your bathroom floor, the number one priority should be to pick something that is water resistant. Ceramic, marble and stone tiles are all excellent, durable and water-resistant choices for a bathroom. Sub-floor heating coils will also make these hard surfaces warm.

Sharing Is Caring

If you share a bathroom with many people, consider separating your bath/shower and toilet into separate rooms with an access door to each room. This will reduce morning traffic with household occupants.

Shower Benefits

Electric Showers

Power Showers

Electric showers can save on your energy bill. This is due to the fact that they heat the water as it runs and only need a cold water supply.
Power showers combine water from the hot and cold supplies. Power showers have a built in pump that strengthens the flow and offers control of temperature and pressure.

Mixer Showers

Digital Showers

For a mixer shower, you need a combi boiler or immersion heater to provide ready-heated water. This is because, like power showers, they combine water from the hot and cold supplies.
Thermostatic mixer showers do a better job of regulating the water temperature than standard mixer showers.
The water in a digital shower comes from a small processor box, which mixes hot and cold water to the desired temperature thermostatically (meaning no nasty temperature spikes when someone switches the cold tap on in the kitchen).
